Strategy Intern - Junior Financial Analyst (3 - 6 Months)

Location: Jaya One – HQ

Internship Duration: 3-6 months

Allowance: RM800 per month

Working Days: Monday to Friday

 

Here’s an idea of what you will do:

You will be responsible for providing analysis and support to Care Concierge. You will play a crucial role in various areas including financial data analysis and modelling, feasibility and investment analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, performance review, market analysis, stakeholder communication, compliance and regulation and perform other ad-hoc responsibilities and tasks as assigned. Your insights and recommendations will help drive informed decision-making and contribute to the company’s overall success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Data Analysis: Interpret data on company finances, ensuring it is used to make informed decisions.

  • Financial Modelling: Develop models to predict future economic conditions affecting company performance.

  • Feasibility & Investment Analysis: Prepare feasibility analysis, assess investment opportunities and risks to provide strategic recommendations.

  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on financial performance, health and forecasts, and visualise using dashboards.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Aid in the budgeting process and predict future financial performance.

  • Performance Review: Analyse past and present financial data to evaluate company performance against business targets.

  • Market Analysis: Keep up to date with market trends to forecast future financial opportunities & risks.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Compliance & Regulation: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and understand their impact on the company.

  • Perform other ad-hoc responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Google Workspace and experience with any analysis tools.

  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
