Here’s an idea of what you will do:
You will support the finance team by assisting with various financial tasks and projects. This role is designed to provide you with practical experience in financial analysis, reporting and planning. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals, gaining insight into the financial operations of our organisation and contributing to our overall financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis: Assist in analysing financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability. Support the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
Data Entry: Perform data entry and maintenance tasks related to financial transactions and records. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Reporting: Help in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Compile and analyse financial information to assist in decision-making processes.
Budgeting: Support the budgeting process by gathering data, preparing budget templates, and tracking budget performance against actuals.
Accounting Support: Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and payment tracking.
Documentation: Assist in maintaining and organising financial documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software. Familiarity with accounting principles and financial analysis is a plus.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
