This course consists of 4 standalone programmes. Each programme duration is 4 hours.
Caregivers learn to provide compassionate, person-centered care while minimising the risk of incidents when caring for seniors with dementia.
Gain a clear understanding of stroke, including its risk factors and prevention. Learn to identify stroke signs and differentiate between ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, as well as their causes and treatments. This training focuses on essential nursing care and strategies to support recovery, along with educating families for effective home care.
Get a comprehensive understanding of hospice and palliative care, focusing on their differences, core principles, and levels of service. Cultivate skills in symptom management, addressing end-of-life concerns, and providing compassionate care that enhances the quality of life for seniors and their families.
